COUNTRYSIDE, Ill. - It's show time at Max Madsen Mitsubishi! The Countryside auto dealer is hosting its first custom Mitsubishi car show on Saturday, June 21 from 3 to 7 p.m. "Countryside is the home of the automobile with our many car dealerships and Route 66, so we are pleased to have Max Madsen host their first car show in our community," said Mayor Robert Conrad. "This is just one more community activity to add to our list of events this year with Road to Route 66." Mitsubishi owners also have the opportunity to display their own car and win prizes. First prize will take home $1,000; second prize is $500 and third prize is $250. Not a Mitsubishi owner? The free event is open to everyone. Meet Max and the Doctor and surprise celebrity guests plus enjoy special pricing on all cars and trucks. Countryside is home to 11 auto dealers including Max Madsen who has been in Countryside for almost 9 years. The City of Countryside is one of two other locations for Max Madsen. The Custom Mitsubishi Car Show will feature over 50 "tricked" or modified Mitsubishis on display. The event takes place at 6150 S. LaGrange Road. Admission to view the cars is free. "Our auto dealers are an important part of our community and is one of the reasons we do not implement a municipal property tax," Conrad said. "We are thrilled Max Madsen is getting involved with our community and encourage all of our residents to come out and enjoy the show." Guests can also enjoy refreshments, gifts, free credit check, free appraisal of current vehicle and free Carfax history of your vehicle.
